2023-24 NBA Season: Key Dates and Events Announced
Regular Season to Begin on October 17, 2023
Mark your calendars, NBA fans! The 2023-24 NBA regular season will officially tip off on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. The first games of the season will feature two exciting matchups:
- Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers
- Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers
The NBA G League regular season will conclude on April 12, 2024, paving the way for the 2023-24 NBA Playoffs.
NBA Play-In Tournament and Playoffs
The 2023 NBA Play-In Tournament will take place from Tuesday, April 11 to Friday, April 14, 2024. The top eight teams in each conference will qualify for the NBA Playoffs, with the remaining eight teams competing in the Play-In Tournament for the final four playoff spots.
The NBA Finals are scheduled to begin on Thursday, May 29, 2024, and will conclude on either Tuesday, June 11, or Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
